Strategic corporate partnerships provide a number of opportunities for symbiotic cooperation. Key benefits include:

  • Enhanced links with local businesses and communities
  • Lasting relationships that are expedient for students seeking employment opportunities
  • Growth and proliferation of the EU Group name helps both previous and future graduates

Key Corporate Partners

CCIG: Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Geneva

The Chamber of Commerce & Industry in Geneva (CCIG) is a private group representing over 2000 Geneva-based businesses and organizations. The group aims to assure that Geneva’s economy remains powerful and competitive, and that local businesses can continue their activities and prosper in the future.

The organizations that make up the CCIG come from diverse sectors, creating a rich and representative network that promotes the interests of the local business community while benefiting from visibility and a position at the center of Geneva’s economy.

The EU Group is proud to be the representing partner for the educational sector to the CCIG, and we have been so for the previous three years. The partnership between us and the CCIG has given students exciting opportunities to see the inner-workings of CCIG through conferences and seminars, while also offering networking opportunities.

Montreux Jazz Festival

Each year since 1967, the Montreux Jazz Festival has been welcoming the greatest musical artists from around the world to offer the public an eclectic series of concerts over the first two weeks of July.

The world-famous festival is inextricably ingrained within the identity of Montreux and we are proud to be one of 20 atypical partners of the event. The 20 business and entities provide local support for the global event, while promoting synergy and networking between the local partners.

The first EU Group campus was established in Montreux, so it is a source of great pride for us to be working with a very important segment of the local community.

Supporting Our Students

We believe that in education, collaboration is key to providing an enhanced and developed experience for students. Through key partnership initiatives with local organizations our students receive powerful supplementary knowledge.

TEDx

To support the proliferation of experimental and potentially world-altering ideas, we have a mission to support TEDx events where possible in campus cities.

The events place an emphasis on showcasing the ideas of local businesses and enterprises, and we ensure that students with a vested interest can attend, volunteer and support the events where possible.

In 2014 we supported TEDx events in Switzerland, Munich and Barcelona with financial and in-kind support. Student volunteers assisted with marketing, communications and event organization, which provided them with useful hands-on events management experience.

International Labor Organization

Each year our undergraduate students in Switzerland complete a three-day joint certificate program with the International Labor Organization, the headquarters of which are located in Geneva. The course focuses on sustainability and corporate social responsibility.

The thought-leading expertise of the ILO gives students first-hand information on the importance of key concepts relating to sustainability and CSR.

ToastMasters

Toastmasters International is a nonprofit organization with over 292,000 members across 14,350 clubs in 122 countries. The organization helps members to develop their public speaking and leadership skills; qualities that are quintessential to a successful career in business.

EU Business School Munich had the pleasure of hosting the Toastmasters International EU Alumni Event on campus, which attracted students, staff and Toastmasters International members.

Interiman

MBA students on the Swiss campuses attend professional development sessions hosted in partnership with Interiman, one of Geneva’s foremost recruitment agencies.

A team of experienced and talented professionals help MBA students prepare for their careers in business, or enhance their existing ones, with sessions focused on interview skills, creating a perfect CV and other aspects of the recruitment process.
